1. Absolute Units

Pixels (px)

Inches (in), Centimeters (cm), Millimeters (mm)

  • When to Use: For print layout.
  • When to Avoid: On web pages, as they may not render as expected on screens.

2. Relative Units

These units are relative to another value, typically the parent element’s size or the viewport.

3. Flex and Grid Units

min() and max()
